Swaraj International Research Journal for Humanities and Social Sciences (SIRJHSS) are committed to maintaining free and open access to all published content. To support this mission, we are pleased to inform our authors that we charge nominal fee for Article Processing Charges (APC) for publishing their research.
1. Nominal Charges for Authors
We charge authors a nominal fee for submission, peer review or publication of articles in our journal. We believe that research publications should be at minimal cost to authors to ensure simple and seamless participation of scholars in publications. We also believe that access to research publications should be free to readers.
We believe that access to research publications should be free for readers, hence SIRJHSS is an Open Access Journal and its research publications are available free of cost to all readers.
2. Article Processing Charges (APC)
We believe that of research publications should be at minimal cost to authors to ensure simple and seamless participation scholars in publications.
• Covers the costs of peer-review, editing, proofreading, typesetting, website maintenance, and online hosting.
• Payment: Fees have to be deposited only after the article is accepted.
• Additional Fees: Additional fees per author may apply if there are co-authors other than the lead author.
• DOI Fees: The journal may charge a separate fee for the Digital Object Identifier (DOI), which is usually additional.
• Waiver: A special discount of 20% in Article Processing Charges (APC) is provided to Registered members of the Journal or Swaraj Research Institute (SRI).
3. Supporting Open Access
• By minimizing APC, we promote the development of an inclusive academic environment where researchers from all backgrounds and fields can seamlessly contribute to and benefit from the latest research.
Our commitment to open access publishing ensures that knowledge remains freely available to the global academic community.

These mechanisms enable us to maintain high quality standards and ensure the continued availability of our journal’s content at nominal cost to authors.
